Nerja has everything for everyone! There are old parts and new sections to the modern Nerja town. The old part still keeps it's character of winding streets and while walled 'casas'. Nerja is a bustling hive of activity especially during those warm evening nights. The main attraction is the Balcon de Europa, a balcony of swaying palms protruding into the deep blue sea. Here many tourist enjoy the breathtaking views and unwind over a cup of 'cafe con leche'.

Along the coast, Nerja boast some 9 beaches, so there is never a shortage of 'space' as to where to bath. Many are sandy little coves, but the largest beach is the famous Burriana Beach. Further East toward Herradura there are more 'natural, quiet beaches that one can enjoy. As you travel along this coastline there are other towns with accommodation comprising of villas and apartments. There is La Herradura and a little further Almunecar with it's history.

Nerja also has a main attraction in the form of the Nerja Caves. These caves are one of the most visited tourist attractions in the whole of Spain. The climate here is also very unique! Boasting the best climate in Europe, having more days of sunshine than anywhere else in Europe.
